Consult of Traning
The District Statistics Office, Gaibandha, under the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics, organizes 
various trainings for the smooth and efficient execution of all its field level activities.These
include training on agricultural statistics for collectionof agricultural information (training 
for conducting 172 spot surveys, training in data collection for 126 major and minor crops,
training in main crop value and production survey, land use and irrigation survey, training on 
agricultural wages Etc). Training is also provided on conducting census and survey conducted at 
different times, training on office management and other related matters for proper management of 
the office. We know that training is essential for enhancing the efficiency of officers / employees.
Training enhances the knowledge, skills of the officers / employees and at the same time improves the 
quality of work. That is why the government has arranged 60 (sixty) hours training per officer / employee
per year. Therefore, it is important to have training system in each department.
